ALTON TOWERS

Alton Towers had very little money but numbers were down. So we came up with the idea of asking people to vote for their favourite Alton Towers ride ever (at altontowers.com or on Facebook). An X-factor style TV ad introduced the campaign which ran over 8 weeks, with varying spots to maintain interest. In-park activity included demonstrations of support at ride entrances, including Neil and Christine Hamilton’s Nemesis support.

The campaign generated a huge amount of debate amongst fans on Facebook, Twitter and Youtube, with Nemesis crowned the overall winner.
